Dr. Joanne Hong, DDS
Meet Dr. Joanne Hong, DDS, our pediatric dentist known for her vibrant and gentle approach. A Southern Californian native who is part of a military family, Dr. Joanne shares a deep connection with our community, understanding the unique needs of our local families. Fluent in both Spanish and Mandarin, Dr. Joanne holds strong empathy and effectiveness in communication towards families of diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Joanne brings over a decade of experience working with children. Trained at the prestigious UCSF School of Dentistry with residency completed at the nationally-ranked Children's Hospital Colorado, she combines top-tier training with extensive experience in caring for children with medical and dental complexities.
Equipped with the latest pediatric dental techniques, Dr. Joanne offers services ranging from preventative care and restorative treatments to interceptive orthodontic care. She is also skilled in administering nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and providing comprehensive treatment under general anesthesia, ensuring comfort and safety in all procedures.
Dr. Joanne is also passionate about local and international dental mission work, where you will find her bringing dental care to children in need during her time off. She also enjoys scuba diving, baking, and exploring nature with her husband.

Dr. Sepehr Hariri
Dr. Sepehr Hariri Has Always Been Passionate About Treating Children And Special Needs Patients Of All Ages. Before Deciding To Become A Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Hariri Volunteered At A Special Needs Center In San Francisco. This Experience Inspired Him To Complete A Hospital-Based Program To Specialize In Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Hariri Graduated From The University Of California, San Francisco School Of Dentistry. He Also Completed A Master In Public Health With Dental Emphasis While Enrolled In Dental School. Dr. Hariri Has Participated In Global And Domestic Outreach By Leading Humanitarian And Dental Mission Trips Throughout His Academic And Professional Career.
Dr. Honey
I graduated from Tufts university school of dental medicine in 2014. I completed a general practice residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. Prior to focusing on dentistry, I completed my undergraduate studies at California State University, Northridge.
I practiced in Texas for nearly 5 years and moved to Los Angeles a few years ago to be close to family and friends.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my dog Blu. I also love traveling to learn about different cultures.
Dr. Sarah Darst
Meet Dr. Sarah Darst, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who loves serving the families of Lancaster Children’s Dental!
Dr. Sarah completed her dental school training at UCLA School of Dentistry. She completed her residency in advanced pediatric dentistry at USC School of Dentistry and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles where she went through extensive training on preventive and restorative dentistry, sedation techniques, treating children with special health care needs, managing traumatic dental injuries and much more.
Dr. Sarah was born and raised in Oregon, and enjoys traveling there to visit family frequently. While she’s home in Southern California, she enjoys trying new restaurants, watching reality TV, building Legos, going to LA Kings games, and spending time with friends and family.
